What is TEAM OF 3?

Team of 3 pits teams of 3 players each against one another.
The players fight in "Main" and "Assist" positions. All 3 members of the team share a single health bar.
Assist players appear from off-screen to support the Main player.

*The following screenshots are of an Assist player's gameplay.
*Player names will be displayed on the screen during the beta test.

Assist players can join the battle by utilizing their unique tools such as Skills and Break-Ins.

■About Skills
Assist players fight using Skills. Skills are divided between Offense, Interference, Healing, and Support. Pick the right one for the current situation.

Using Skills expends the Skill Gauge. The same Skill cannot be used again while in cool-down. Manage your Skill usage wisely.

■Available Skills
There are 8 types of skills available in the open beta test.

  • Crimson Verne
    Generates fire underfoot
  • Thunderbolt
    Strikes opponent with lightning
  • Dangerous Bubble
Generates a bubble that triggers a counterattack
  • Power Gale
Pushes opponent back with a violent wind
  • Chimaki
    Sends out a sturdy Chimaki
  • Afro
    Throws an afro
  • Healing Aura
    Recovers health
  • Basilisk Weapon
    Grants poison effect to attacks

■About Break-Ins
Break-In performs a powerful special move unique to each character. Although only one can be used at a time, they boast relatively high damage and fast startup.

■About Tagging
Perform a Tag when you want to switch positions between Main and Assist.
A Tag is successful once the request is accepted.

The arrow shown in the icon changes depending on if the request came from a Main or Assist player.
A countdown begins when you put out a Tag request. If it is accepted before it reaches 0, the Tag is successful and the Main and Assist players switch positions.
However, you can only fight as the Main player once per round, so consider carefully before putting out or accepting a Tag request.
Upon a successful Tag, the Main and Assist player can fight together for a duration of time.
A gauge appears above the head of the player switching from Main to Assist showing the remaining duration of co-play.

■Online Match
In Online Match, you can assemble your own team before searching for an opponent team. In "Create Team" you can recruit team members, and in "Team Search" you can search for teams to join. Once you're ready, select "Start Search" to find an opponent team.

Selecting "Start Search" without a full team of members will search for both the remaining team members as well as an opponent team.

To play together with friends, you can set a Search ID from the "Create Team" menu. Other players can join by inputting the Search ID from the Team Search option.
