[Ver. 1.37] Patch Notes (May 29, 2024)

An update to Version 1.37 will be released after maintenance on May 30 for the PlayStation®4/PlayStation®5/Steam/Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One/Windows versions of Guilty Gear -Strive-.
General / Game Modes
・Added Slayer as a playable character.
* Slayer will be available after purchasing “GGST Season Pass 3” or the “Slayer” DLC Item.
・Added the Slayer Theme, “Ups and Downs”
* Slayer must be selectable in order to use the BGM.
・Added avatar items for Slayer.
* The new avatar items can be obtained via “fishing” in-game.
・Added DLC stage “Amber Fest with Kind Neighbors.”
* The stage will be available after purchasing “GGST Season Pass 3” or the “Amber Fest with Kind Neighbors” DLC item.
・Added the following BGM to the Gallery Mode:
Haven't You Got Eyes In Your Head? (Slayer’s theme from GGXX)
Jack-a-Dandy (Slayer’s theme from GGXrd)
* The newly added BGM can be accessed after obtaining them via “fishing.”
Digital Figure
・Added additional content for A.B.A
The new Digital Figure items can be accessed after obtaining them via “fishing” in-game.
GG WORLD
・Updated the “A.B.A” and “Paracelsus” entries in GG WORLD.
・Added thumbnail images for “A.B.A,” “Elphelt,” “Slayer,” “Paracelsus” and “Rei.”
Battle Related
・Fixed an issue in which opponents stuck to the wall after A.B.A’s Bonding and Dissolving would trigger an additional wall stick under certain conditions.
Arcade Mode
・Fixed an issue in which some voices did not play correctly in Testament’s Arcade Mode when voices were set to Japanese.
Other
・Fixed a minor issue with A.B.A’s character model.
This does not affect battle performance.
・Fixed an issue in which the scene did not play correctly when Faust’s Bone-Crushing Excitement was used against Johnny.
・Fixed an issue that caused unintended camera movement when activating Roman Cancel at certain times when throwing a character in the air.
・Fixed an issue in which certain voice patterns did not play the intended facial expressions when defeating Baiken while using Bedman?
